Rules and conditions for using HOSTBIT SRL services

1. Content Policy

Publishing content that is strictly prohibited:

  • Violates intellectual property rights
  • Contains obscene, violent or discriminatory materials
  • Includes viruses or pirated software
  • Is intended exclusively for storage (servers cannot be used solely as storage space)

2. Prohibited Scripts

The following types of scripts are prohibited on our servers:

  • Proxy/anonymizer scripts
  • IRC scripts
  • Top site scripts
  • Online gaming scripts
  • Mail bombers
  • Torrent trackers
  • Unauthorized shell scripts

3. Email Policy

Strict anti-spam rules are applied for all accounts:

  • Limited email sending capabilities per hosting package
  • Maximum limits of 200-400 emails per hour depending on plan
  • Spam results in immediate account suspension
  • Using servers for unauthorized bulk email sending is prohibited

4. Resource Usage

We monitor server resource consumption and apply specific limits:

  • Specific CPU, memory and process limits for each hosting package
  • Possible account suspension for excessive resource usage
  • Limited background processes to ensure optimal performance for all clients
  • Automatic notifications before limiting actions

5. PHP Version Support

We provide access to older PHP versions for compatibility. Clients are responsible for their application compatibility. Vulnerable versions may be disabled for server security.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client must:

  • Keep contact information updated in account
  • Check email regularly for important notifications
  • Make own backups of important data
  • Respect all payment deadlines

7. Liability Limitation

HOSTBIT SRL limits liability for service interruptions. We are not responsible for data loss caused by external factors, attacks, or client actions. Our liability is limited to the value of paid services.

8. Backups

We perform daily backups for shared hosting. There is no absolute guarantee regarding backup integrity. Clients are advised to download personal backups of important data. Backups are not guaranteed for VPS and dedicated servers unless specified in contract.

9. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for shared web hosting services. This does not apply to domains, VPS services, dedicated servers or setup fees. To request a refund, contact the support department.

10. Uptime Guarantee - 99.9%

We guarantee 99.9% uptime for hosting services. This guarantee does not include planned maintenance outages or issues caused by external factors. In case of guarantee non-compliance, clients may request compensation according to our compensation policy.

11. Background Processes

Background processes (cron jobs, daemons) are allowed only within normal usage limits. Processes that consume excessive resources will be automatically terminated. For applications requiring intensive processes, we recommend a VPS plan or dedicated server.

12. Contract Duration and Renewal

Contracts automatically renew according to the chosen billing cycle (monthly/annual). Clients are notified 7 days before renewal. To cancel automatic renewal, contact support at least 48 hours before the due date.

13. Payments and Billing

Services are billed according to rates displayed at the time of order. Payments are made in advance. We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer and other methods displayed in the client panel. Late payment leads to service suspension.

14. Domain Registration and Transfer

Domain rules:

  • Domains are registered in the client's name
  • The client is the legal owner of the domain
  • Domain transfers are done according to registrar rules
  • Domain renewal is the client's responsibility
  • We do not offer refunds for registered domains

15. Technical Support

Technical support is included for shared hosting and covers issues related to server operation and basic services. We do not provide support for application development, custom code debugging or advanced configurations without additional costs. For VPS and dedicated servers, support covers only hardware and connectivity issues.

16. Terms Modification

HOSTBIT SRL reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified by email about major changes. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
